Icon Resin Infiltration

Icon resin infiltration is a treatment of white spot lesions on teeth. These white spots can be caused by the decalcification of tooth enamel either congenitally or with poor dental hygiene. The resin infiltration is a minimally invasive treatment that penetrates demineralized enamel to better match the natural shade of the tooth. It can lessen the appearance of white spots without an extensive procedure such as veneers or fillings.

Whitening treatments can heighten the appearance of these white spots. One of our patients completed our in-house whitening treatment and did not like the starkness of their white spots after whitening. The patient then consented to resin infiltration and was thrilled with the final result!
